I love a good smoothie, especially a sweet and refreshing one on a warm summer day that not only cools me down, but gives me a boost all morning long.  This smoothie is full of vitamins, nutrients, and vegan protein…. and its just as delicious as it is healthy. Enjoy it for breakfast, lunch, or as a post workout cool down.


1/2 frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen raspberries

1 cup almond milk

1 serving green powder (I’ve been loving Aloha Daily Green Goods)

1 scoop vegan protein powder

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tsp maca powder

More almond  milk or water as needed– I like my smoothies thick and often eat them with a spoon!


Add all ingredients to the blender and blend thoroughly- adding more liquid as needed

I made this smoothie for breakfast today and I can’t wait to make it again tomorrow! It’s the perfect combo of cold, creamy, and sweet… and I can fully enjoy it, because every ingredient nourishes and fuels my body.
