I know many people associate eating healthy with eating bland, light salads with theย dressing on the side… butย my favorite kind of salad is anything but skimpy.

This Tuna Avocado Saladย is something I like to make for lunch, especially when I want a quick and easy meal. We always keep tuna and avocado in the house, but the veggies vary from time to time. Sometimes I’ll toss in cucumbers or zucchini, occasionally brussel sprouts or broccoli. This timeย I decided to go with fresh mushrooms.

Not only is this a quick meal, but it consists of only 6 ingredients- someย of which you probablyย already have in the house.

Make this salad for lunch or dinner (or breakfastย if that’s your thing) and enjoy!

Recipe: Tuna Avocado Salad

Ingredients:

1 can tuna

romaine lettuce

1/2 avocado

mushrooms

Olive oil

Sea Salt

1/2 lemon (optional)

Directions:

Chop up lettuce into bite-size pieces. Slice avocado and mushrooms (if they’re not pre-sliced).

In a large bowl mix lettuce, avocado, mushrooms and tuna.

Drizzle with olive oil + sea salt (+ lemon juice)
